Kids will learn the basics of drawing, painting, 3D drawing, watercolour and more. These art classes will help improve your kids drawing abilities and art senses. Our art classes for kids are held in small groups to optimize the learning experience.

Creativity Program
(3-8 yo)
Creativity Programme by our school provides opportunities for children (aged 4-10 years) to develop artistic knowledge and skills through a range of media, forms and expressions. Students will be able to experience different medias such as Acrylic, Oil Pastels, Markers, watercolour and even Chinese Calligraphy!

This programme takes on a unique learning approach that encourages children to think out of the box. The course takes the kids through a fun learning journey of discovery and creativity with a wide variety of themes being covered – from the arts to the sciences to geography to anything under their imagination – the world is their oyster to explore!
Drawing Fundamentals Programme
(8-12 years old)
This course focuses on basic geometric and organic forms as a means to understand form, plane, structure, as well as light and shade. It also includes detailed studies of objects and nature where you’ll observe textures, elements, organic shapes and patterns found in common fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers and foliage.
This programme is targeted to equip students with a good artist’s eye. Students will be able to identify the various stroke gestures (long strokes, short strokes) and line quality (width, weight, pressure, consistency, fluidity, etc) Topics covered include strokes and gestures; loose sketching and blocking in; measurement and sighting to achieve accurate proportion; and applying tonal values and basic textures to enhance form.
Budding Artist Program
(12 years old or more)
It is a broad and specialist program for pre-teens and teens who want to advance their interests in arts into noticeable talent. The program is intended to help children gain confidence in their skills and competency in the techniques involved in their chosen medium.

To improve and expand painting and drawing techniques and styles, we will guide students to use artists as inspiration to launch into individual style(s). They will also learn ways to combine complex mediums, tones, grades, and forms for the desired effect. The program will include sketching, painting and art history, all used to advance refinement in skills, while also broadening techniques, conceptualization, and art knowledge.
History & Theory
Part of learning art is knowing what came before so you can be inspired by past masters, and learn to play with their styles, and understand how images are not only made, but interpretted.
